Everything you need for a relaxing mountain vacation is here. Our property is located just east of Hendersonville surrounded by horse farms and orchards. Summer and fall are great times to pick apples, blackberries and other fruit. For wine lovers, there are six wineries in our area offering tastings, music and great food. Many of these locations are with 10-15 minutes of the cabin. Local breweries offer craft beer and live music. The shared fire pit is available to enjoy your favorite beverage.

Shower facility located about 200 paces from cottage. The Stream Retreat Center is located 7 miles from Hendersonville and 30 miles from Asheville, NC. We have roughly 7 acres of beautiful North Carolina mountain and meadow land in which to roam and discover your unique place of solitude and reflection.

There is a large private deck behind the cabin with a dining set, gas grill, and 2 lounge chairs. A large Ingles grocery store and several restaurants are open nearby. This family lake house is built on beautiful lake Lanier. Just ten minutes from Tryon North Carolina and Landrum South Carolina. The house offers beautiful views of Hogback Mountain from our private patio, it is on the water, has a dock, canoe, gas grill,and a rooftop deck overlooking the water. We also offer two Roku televisions wifi, high speed internet, fire pit, and a full kitchen and bath. Also included are linens and towels, as well as condiments and basic toiletries.

This cabin was constructed by hand in 2019 and is designed with both style and calm in mind. It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin is a BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ safe space, partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel.
