One master bedroom with private bathroom and one bathroom for the rest of the house. Tv in each room and expansive views of the Chester River. There are tons of outdoor activities to do from fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and biking. This is a gorgeous piece of property on Maryland’s eastern shore. Great crab houses and restaurants minutes away.

Rumbley Cottage on the Tangier Sound-Private Beach

Three shorter stays available: July 19-21, October 23-26 and November 11-14. Message me so I can send special invite. Rumbley Cottage, a custom-built home, provides a quiet stay in nature. Views from all windows. Look out at the mouth of the Manokin River at Tangier Sound on one side; wetlands on the other side. NO CLEANING OR PET FEE. Rumbley Cottage is enjoyed year- round with a great fireplace. Many amenities: WE PROVIDE THE FIREWOOD AND STARTERS, kayaks, paddle boards, MB toiletries.

Upstairs also includes two bedrooms and bathrooms with some Victorian-era charm. Relax to 180 degree riverviews on the deck with a propane grill, hammock, table & chairs.

You may see college sailing races, crew teams rowing, or the historic Maryland Dove sailing down the river. It's lovely here year around! SUNSETS!
