He wisely recognized for decades to come this would be a prized place of rest, enjoyed by 5 generations. Our two kayaks for beginners and new paddle board are available for rent. Explore the unbelievable beauty of the Olympic National Park just a few miles away featuring hiking to rainforests, glaciers, and mountain lakes.

Tucked into a lush rain forest, this cozy and private tiny house is a peaceful retreat for slowing down. Fall asleep gazing at majestic evergreen trees through the glass ceiling of this dreamy romantic cottage with antique soaking tub on our dog & child-friendly organic hobby farm located just minutes from the Mukilteo ferry and the charming sea town of Langley. Interact with sassy swan-like sebastopol geese or a kaleidoscope of 50ish chickens and two brother rescue goats named Frank and Petunia. Groomed trails lead to a 100 acre nature preserve managed by our neighbors The Whidbey Institute.

Bring or rent a kayak or paddleboard: explore Hood head, Squamish harbor, or Gamble bay. Close to the Hood Canal Floating Bridge. Summer days we often have deer in the yard, and eagles soaring above, watching the shoreline for fish. Our yard has fruit trees, a barbecue, fire pit, and views of the mountains and water There is a trail through the woods to the nearby shoreline. It's a spacious ground floor retreat.
