This beautiful barn apartment is located on Bayou Sarah Farms, Louisiana’s first and only water buffalo dairy. If you're looking to get away from hustle of the city, this is the stay for you! The space is surrounded by windows so guests can enjoy views of water buffalo grazing on rolling pastures beneath century old live oak trees. There is also a nice balcony to enjoy the views. Small kitchen with the basics. We also have a friendly farm dog, tiny pony, and cats- no animals are allowed indoors.

Adirondack-style treehouse cabin surrounded by a 99,000-acre national forest. The nearby spring-fed creek is a lovely cooling-off spot with miles and miles of pristine sand-bars. This house has two beds. One is across from the wood stove. The second is in the sleeping loft. The loft has an open fourth wall and a queen mattress. It’s a cozy spot and not roomy. The Cabin is a cozy getaway located on a 4.5 acre lot in a quiet neighborhood. It's only 10 minutes away from the Baton Rouge Airport and Walmart. Downtown Baton Rouge and LSU are about 20 minutes away so if you’re planing to watch a game or enjoy the city it is a little bit of a drive. There's also a simple walking trail that goes to an over view of the Comite River. It takes 5 or 10 minutes to walk and can be challenging for small children but will be enjoyable for out door lovers.

1 Bed Guesthouse with Pool & Pond on a Farm

Yellow Bayou Plantation is a real working farm that sits on over 100 acres along the historic Yellow Bayou. The guesthouse is located behind the main house. It has an open floor plan, a full kitchen and an antique claw foot tub. There are horses, chickens, cows & honey bees located on the property as well as a stocked fishing pond and a swimming pool. You may see a combine harvesting a crop off in the distance or beekeeping activity. Come fall in love with this rural farming area.

The downstairs contains a bedroom with queen sized bed and full bathroom. The cabin is 8 miles north of downtown St. Francisville and close to shopping, hiking and dining.

Our cabin is located on a secondary road behind a locked gate nestled in the forest on six acres of property surrounded by pine and hardwood. Beautiful Brushy Creek is steps away from the porch. The Homochitto National Forest is minutes away. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking or bird watching in the quiet while watching wildlife. We also have games & TV/DVD player hookup only. Take a day or afternoon & go looking for arrowheads, fossils & other treasures like gold rocks.
