Green Lake, located in Ellsworth/Dedham Maine, is a 3,132 acre freshwater lake with a maximum depth of over 170ft.

Family Friendly Lakefront Cottage, Ambajejus Lake

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. This is a large (1600 sq. ft.) kid friendly cottage that has all of the conveniences of a home with the beauty and charm of a lakefront cabin. The construction was finished in 2024 so everything is new including the furniture and appliances. The cabin waterfront is in a shallow cove. The depth at the end of the dock is less than 3 feet making it a good place for wading and exploring for kids. Water shoes recommended.

4-Season Cabin next to Morgan's Beach on beautiful Cold Stream Pond rented year round. This is the perfect location for a family vacation or business/working people who travel and have temporary assignments lasting one week to several months. Cabins are fully furnished and include: heat, hot water, electricity, Direct TV, WiFi, trash removal, driveway and roadway plowing. We just completed our project & we are so excited about the years to come in the beautiful north woods of Maine - "the way life should be". Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). 3 night minimum. Cottage is located at 32 Lake Avenue, Brownville, Maine 04414. Turn right at A.E. Roberson's convenience store in Brownville, Maine onto Church Street. Follow Church Street for 4.7 miles and turn right onto Schoodic Lake Road. Follow Schoodic Lake Road for Approx. 4 miles. Bear right after crossing the railroad tracks and 32 Lake Ave. will be on your left at our mail box.

If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, our house on Molasses Pond may be a good fit for you/your family. It is a hidden gem down a dirt road away from hustle and bustle. Peace and quiet is what you’ll find, along with a gorgeous view. It’s a great place for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling, fishing, and laying on the hammock. We try to provide you with all the necessities you may need and are happy to answer any questions. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Welcome to our cozy, vintage home! A nearby walk offers access to shops, art galleries, restaurants, and playgrounds. The area offers many hiking opportunities, too, including the Appalachian Trail, Baxter Park, and Mt. Katahdin. Kayaking, fishing, and bird-watching available right from the yard, and swimming, moose tours, rafting, hunting, and snowmobiling are also nearby! The host, a state-registered Master Guide, is able to issue hunting/fishing licenses on-site (see "Other" heading).

Perfect for both adventure and relaxation, guests can enjoy nearby hiking, biking, ATV'ing, and local dining, or stay close to home casting a line off the dock, swimming in the lake, paddling the provided kayaks or canoe, and gathering around the campfire for s’mores. With the charm of a classic cabin and the comforts of home, The Lookout offers a welcoming retreat in every season.

Waterfront Cabin in Hermon

You’ll be surrounded by seventeen acres of tranquil trees and serene waterfront. In winter, it transforms into a picturesque wonderland, complete with snowmobile trails, ice fishing, and nearby skiing. Enjoy a variety of outdoor activities, such as kayaking and swimming, or unwind indoors with a game of pool and darts. Kayak to the three connected ponds (two of which are tucked away!) or paddle down the Souadabscook River for a chance to spot local wildlife.

Windy Point Cottage on Ambajejus Lake

Windy Point Cottage is a full amenity waterfront cottage. Located on Ambajejus Lake, we are only 8 miles outside of Millinocket and about 15 to Baxter State Park. Enjoy the use of our beach and kayaks and then relax on the wrap around deck and watch our amazing sunsets. We also have a fire pit/wood for those nights of sitting around a fire telling stories and creating memories. A gas grill and picnic table are also on premises as well as a screened gazebo.
