Spacious newly renovated cottage located in peaceful Mayo countryside, close to popular fishing lakes, 30 mins from Ireland West Airport, 15 mins from Castlebar, 25 mins from Ballina and 5 mins from the Green Way located at Tourlough House and Country Life Museum. Pontoon freshwater beach is 10 mins drive, Ennischrone, Killalla and Westport are 30 mins away and boast fabulous beaches. The house sleeps 8 people and is newly renovated. Our place is only 4.6km from the Dublin/Westport train line and close to Knock & Shannon airports (31km & 135km). Located only 4.7km from the local town Claremorris, which has boutiques, supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, & great sports facilities (tennis, equestrian, gym and indoor pool, athletics track, etc). A good base for visitors who wish to explore Connemara & the West of Ireland while still feeling the comfort of home. Suitable for couples, adventurers, business travellers, and families.

Cosy Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, cosy space in the rolling countryside and just a 40 minute drive from Knock Airport. For something more lively there’s Westport and Castlebar, with their shops, bars and the beautiful coastline and beaches of the Wild Atlantic Way. The 2 friendly cats, Muffin and Bruce, prefer to live outside but like to say hello. When not away working, I stay in a chalet on a separate piece of land close by but not overlooking the cottage. I do respect guest privacy.

The Red Fox Cottage

This is a lovely old style cottage attached to an Authentic local Irish Pub. It is self contained with front and rear entrances and parking. There are two open fireplaces. A great choice for a large family group, a group of friends, or a couple. Knock Ireland West International Airport is approx 30 mins away. There are woods, lakes and amazing beaches very close by. Ballina Town is only 8km away. Combine your stay with the perfect pint of Guinness and a chat with the locals, next door!

No. 58 is a very cosy two bedroom mid terrace house opposite McHale Park (GAA) in Castlebar, Co. Mayo. The downstairs living area consists of a kitchen/dining, sitting room, work station and utility leading to an enclosed rear yard where one can bask in the sunshine and relax ! McHale road is a very friendly community in a cul de sac and is a 15 minute walk to the town centre with shops, pubs and entertainment. It is also a 10 minutes walk from the train station.
