This cozy 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom cabin is fully stocked with cooking utensils, linens and cookware to make your stay turnkey! Relax on the porch swing with ice cold drinks. Take in the stars while toasting marshmallows at fire pit. Cast a line into the stock pond on the property (bass, catfish & crappie). Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. We have a cute guest room attached to our garage adjacent our back porch. It’s a small space but has all the essentials and is super comfy! It has a full size comfy bed, a comfy chair, dresser, desk, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and 36" flat screen TV with Amazon Firestick. The bathroom has a small shower. We include lots of little extras to make your stay enjoyable. We live in the Historic area of downtown Bastrop. Our home was built in 1916 by my husband's great grandfather.

We offer two beautiful cottages (The Hemingway and The FW) that are located on 50 acres at the end of a dead end road. Surrounded by thousands of privately owned acreage, featuring abundant wildlife (deer, turkey, birdwatchers paradise). This is a working cattle ranch so you can take in sunsets as cattle graze in front of you. Cottages are newly built and fully furnished. Lofts for reading, custom tile showers, outdoor fire pits and lounge area. Cottages are located away from main house.

Experience "The Good Life" at our sweet getaway between McDade and Paige, Texas. The Snug sits on 6+ secluded acres we call Shut Inn Pharm. Swing on the porch of your private studio cabin and watch the world go by or write your next great novel. Good pups (and owners) OK. WE LIVE ON THE PROPERTY. WE KEEP BEES 🐝. 5 mins to Sherwood Forest, 45 mins to Austin and 40 mins to Round Top. The Snug is close enough to the areas' many gems, but far enough away to feel like a unique getaway.
