Nestled beneath treetops, lies a cluster of contemporarily designed chalets which have been equipped to adapt to the Malaysian tropical surroundings. These lodges are managed lovingly by a family who has a great interest in local heritage and nature. Located 400 meters away from the well known Cherating Beach, guests are able to experience a relaxing retreat in both unique settings - the rainforest and the sunny seaside - whilst being close to the amenities and activities of Kampung Cherating.

The Estate Hulu Rening

The estate Hulu Rening is a private retreat cabin located in Batang Kali, about an hour drive north of Kuala lumpur. It is a private property nestled on a cliff in the forest. Its architecture is based on the topography of the area. Therefore, do note that our accommodation is not a contemporary hotel or resort that provides high-end comfort. It does, however, provide a sense of escapism for our visitors whilst experiencing a blend of nature and industrial architecture together.

These chalets are built within a tropical forest reserve, located in Pantai district of Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is the perfect getaway for nature lovers, as well as those seeking tranquility, away from the hectic life from the city. The air is fresh, and the average temperature here deviates between 24°C - 32°C. During the night or when it rains, the weather here is exceptionally cooling. The water used in our chalet is fresh and collected from the hills.
