Sleep up in the trees in our cozy Magical Treehouse. This place is the perfect base camp for your next adventure, or a unique spot to curl up with a good book. The perfect place to be in the woods, but not isolated. Cook your meals in the nearby cookhouse (40’ away, unheated) on a camp stove or over an open campfire. A heated bathroom/shower is 20’ away. Salmon River Wilderness Camp: Yurt & 300 acres

Tucked away in the rugged Land O’ Lakes region of Eastern Ontario, the waterfront Salmon River Wilderness Camp is a private, 300-acre wilderness, bordering on the pristine Salmon River as well as Cade Lake. Rejuvenate with a swim, go paddling in a canoe at your doorstep, and hike in the rolling landscape of forests, granite and clean water. Centrally located between Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal, we're also near Puzzle Lake Provincial Park and the Lennox & Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area.

Magical yurt site

Enjoy a very private retreat surrounded by nature in this bright cosy yurt. The yurt has a large deck on 2 private spring fed ponds. Enjoy the sky beneath the large skylight on your comfortable queen sized bed. The screened in kitchen is next to the yurt with running water, fridge and stove Treat yourself to the wood burning sauna and go for a refreshing plunge in the spring fed pond. For a hot shower use the outdoor spiral shower, near the house or a solar shower by the yurt.

Eco-yurt riverfront, soaker tub, secluded, private

This is a romantic getaway for two on the banks of the Tay, 10 minutes West of Perth, Ontario. Secluded and quiet with private swimming access to the river where it slows and flows over a large flat rock bed. Fully solar, this 20 foot diameter yurt has a queen bed, 3 piece bathroom, propane “wood” stove, T.V. and Starlink wifi access and fully stocked kitchen with coffee and tea service with a Keurig or bodom. Off season and winter rental is available without running water. (see below)
