We are a fully self contained guest unit on 4hecters of farmland that has animals including lambs, chooks and pet dogs. This private unit is an easy ten minute drive from the city centre of sunny Gisborne. It is perfect for a couple who want a weekend away to experience what the East Coast has to offer including our delicious wineries, stunning beaches and coastline, all a short drive away. There is always something to do here from surfing, to local arts and crafts, fly fishing and hiking.

Wainui Beach Studio, Gisborne

Our tiny house is tucked away on a peaceful semi-rural lane, offering an ideal stay for individuals or couples. Just a 5-minute walk to Wainui Beach and a short 5-minute drive to downtown Gisborne, you’ll have easy access to both Gissy’s most scenic beach and the city center. We have basic bikes available to use - perfect for a leisurely ride around the area. Whether you’re here for a relaxing beach break, a work trip, or a surf session, our cozy tiny house is the perfect base for your stay.

Private Self Contained Studio Centrally Located!

The self contained Studio is located behind our Art Deco home, with your own parking bay. Located close to the " viaduct basin " of Gisborne - Restaurants, Kaiti Hill, Museum, Cycleway, Beaches and a short 10 minute walk to the river and Gisborne CBD. The Studio is private and centrally located - a great place to explore all our region has to offer, easily. The studio is perfect for couples, solo travellers and business travellers. The Barn

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. 5km from The City Centre, everything is close. Situated in Rural Gisborne you will wake up to the sound of our farm babies not the noise of town. This open plan, apartment is above our storage garage. You will have your own parking and entrance to your little apartment. Wheatstone Studio

Our modern, architecturally designed detached studio is the perfect accommodation for couples or individuals looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Situated on a hectare block with a relaxing rural outlook our house is walking distance (1500m) to Wainui Beach and a short (5 min) drive to Gisborne city. The perfect location! Our studio mixes a luxurious but informal bach aesthetic it’s the ideal place to unwind, relax and enjoy Gisborne. BBQ and surfboard available on request.

The Cedar Retreat

Gisborne has some of the best beaches you will find in NZ and if summer is true to form the temperature can hit 30 degrees plus, if fishing is your hobby there are miles of beaches to do a bit of surfcasting, you also have the famous HWY 35 to explore at your leisure. If surfing is your buzz you will be spoilt for choice. Gisbornes horticulture scene is booming with many wineries to visit and taste some of our Chardonnay classics making us the Chardonnay capital of NZ.

Central, Spacious and Comfortable Retreat

Our spacious and comfortable retreat is located in central Gisborne, only a short stroll (200m) away from Ballance Street Village, where you will find great food, coffee and many other bare necessities (post, gift shop, florist, pharmacy, liquor store, etc). Your sunny room is self-contained and situated in a private area of the house with independent access and contactless entry system. Enjoy a luxury king bed, Wi-Fi, TV (freeview, Netflix), workspace and kitchenette.

Pōhatu Studio, A retreat by the River

Pōhatu, meaning stone in Maori, is a beautiful 1925 Arts & Crafts house built by one of regions wealthiest landowners. Lovingly restored in 2020, the guest room is self contained and absorbs the morning sun. Pohatu is located beside the Waimata River, on a 3000m2 section surrounded by mature trees and gardens which afford privacy for sitting outside with your favourite beverage. The property is a short walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants.

Gisborne Dream Suite

The guest suite in the front of our character bungalow is centrally located to Gisborne town with its local eateries and beautiful beaches. Easy walking distance to the Tairawhiti Museum and the Saturday Farmers Market. It has its own separate entrance for you to come and go freely as you explore the Tairawhiti Region. We have created this little haven for wanderers, travellers and whānau (families) who want to enjoy the East Coast.

Tokomaru Beach

Our place is newly built, behind a historic building, only metres from the beautiful Tokomaru Bay Beach. The facilities are all modern, with heat pump/air conditioning, acomodating 4 people with style, comfort and ease. One queen bed is in the lounge as a pull down/retractable and the second in a separate bedroom. Shower and toilet is an ensuite shared by all guests but accessed through the bedroom.

Puka Pod by the beach

A stylish, comfortable pod set up to give you maximum privacy as you enjoy our excellent location. Just across the road is Waikanae beach and the always popular Captain Morgans. Just a short walk will have you in the centre of the city or follow the beautiful boardwalk around to some of our best restaurants.
