Minutes’ drive from Orford, and less than two hours’ drive to Freycinet National Park, with plenty of beautiful scenery and wineries along the way.

Tawny is a custom built Tiny House, whose name is inspired by the elusive Tawny Frogmouth who live in the area. A short drive to a choice of amazing beaches and short walks; Maria Island and local eateries. Sandra & Ricky are pleased to be hosting Rostrevor Pickers Cottage located just 3 minutes from the Maria Island Ferry. Stroll around the historical Rostrevor farm which was once one of the largest orchards in the southern hemisphere and is now a family run fine wool and hereford cattle farm with many original buildings on site. This lovingly restored farm shed turned contemporary cottage is nestled in the shade of a centuries old oak tree, perfect for taking in the country quiet.

You instantly feel “at home” at the blackshack. Please Note: Our very last booking weekend will be the 5th June 2026 to allow us to prepare for the sale of our Airbnb/home. St Michael and All Angels Church has been given a new lease of life as The Church at Orford boutique accommodation. Lovingly converted, this beautiful building retains unique architectural features whilst including quality furnishing and modern amenities. Ideal for a romantic weekend getaway, a summer holiday or to use as a gateway to the beautiful East Coast or to visit Maria Island National Park.

Spring Beach Cottage

Private cottage 100 metres from the white sand of Spring Beach, on a large block in a bush setting with beautiful views of the beach, Maria Island and the Triabunna lighthouse. Birds are in abundance and there is also a resident echidna. There is a surcharge of $30 for one night only bookings.
