Welcome to the Mermaid House! Forget all your troubles in this beautiful, serene space. Situated on Blue Lake, a 441 acre private lake located just 5 miles south of downtown Minocqua. Blue Lake is in the top ten of Wisconsin’s clearest lakes and is home to panfish, largemouth bass, small mouth bass, and walleye. The lake is not only great for fishing, but also perfect for cruising and/or watersports. This house is perfect for year round stays with close proximity to the UTV/snowmobile trails.

Or sit around the fire pit and listen to the sounds and peacefulness of the Northwoods. The cabin has a full kitchen for when you'd like to stay in. Very close to snowmobile trails. A new dock to tie it up for the evening on those summer stays, and drive out (at own risk) on the ice for those winter months.

We made great efforts to restore the character of our cottage by salvaging and refinishing much or the original woodwork, while modernizing some features for a comfortable experience!
