This little gem of a spot is on a secluded island in the middle of the Mississippi River. The sound of the rapids will lull you to sleep in your magical tent perched right over the water! We are offering a beautiful, COMFORTABLE, option to camping. Our off grid tent comes with all the comforts of home including a wood stove and reading nook! It is nestled into a hemlock grove overlooking the active beaver pond. Walking trails and local activities at a stones throw. If you have a small boat or kayaks- BRING them! We have space in the yard and lots of local places to send you to get good use out of them. Please do not use on our pond. We have a boat available for use.

Our off-grid canvas tent is situated at the edge of a meadow, surrounded by blueberry bushes. It's just 4.5 miles to Main St in Livingston Manor, and 35 minutes to Bethel Woods. We provide a full-size bed (w/ heated mattress pad), fire pit, firewood, propane heater, and solar power. You have access to a private outhouse with composting toilet & outdoor shower on-site, and a conventional shared bathroom if you preferred. We are an LGBTQ+ inclusive space.

Rest and Recharge Retreat

We have a new larger tent for 2026! Queen size bed. We have also added a sauna to our retreat. Rest and recharge at this beautifully landscaped glamping retreat. Enjoy quiet moments of zen in the meditation garden, awake to the birds and butterflies, float the afternoon away in the pool or enjoy stargazing in the hot tub at night. We are set up for a quiet retreat for 2 people. Additional guests must be approved in advance. No parties!
