Perfect for secluded get-away or family vacation & near the beautiful Historic Natchitoches for Downtown shopping. Natchitoches is known for festivals throughout the year including their Christmas Festival.

Pelican Place on Caddo Lake (Boat Ramp & Kayaks)

Quiet retreat by Caddo lake with private boat ramp. Launch your own boat, or use kayaks. Filming of the movie produced by M. Night Shyamalan "Caddo Lake" was seen from the waterfront of Pelican Place. The patio is perfect for grilling dinner while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Caddo Lake. The updated interior of the house has maintained its rustic charm; provides a complete kitchen, private bedroom & queen sleeper sofa in living room. It is located on the grounds at Landry Vineyards. Guests can relax with a complimentary bottle of wine, free wine tastings M-Sat. 11-5:30 and all the modern amenities. Book a tour on a Sat., by visiting the website. NO PETS! Grapes are not on the vines & green year-round, they go dormant in the winter. The cottage has a lot of sleeping space.

Our newly renovated cabins are located 10 minutes from downtown Natchitoches, LA on 30 acres of gated property on Bayou Pierre. It is quiet, secluded, and beautiful. Upstairs the cabin has a bedroom with a queen bed, a loft area with two twin bed, and also a living area, kitchen, and bathroom downstairs. Come relax on the back porch on the swing. It is equipped with Satellite, WIFI, basic kitchen supplies, bedding, a grill, and more. We have trails to explore and a floating dock in the bayou!

Waterfront - The Red Camp at Lake Bistineau

About 45 minutes from Shreveport/Bossier City, our lake house is located on a quiet curve of Lake Bistineau, known for its Spanish Moss-draped cypress trees and lovely sunsets. Please note that the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries has begun the annual drawdown to try to control the giant Sylvania weed. We can always see water from our property, but the water’s edge is out past the trees. Great for a walk in the lakebed! also, please check out our neighboring property, Shades of Blue!

We're 25 minutes from Natchitoches on Black Lake. We are in a secluded area of a dead end road. Enjoy the peace and quiet surrounded by Spanish moss covered trees. Under the covered front porch, you'll find comfortable seating with great views of the lake. The large windows provide lake views and let in plenty of natural light. Spend the day in town shopping or enjoying a festival. Return home to relax with a meal on the grill or a glass of wine with friends around the firepit.
