The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views(elevation is 3,383 feet - Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink, and rejuvenate your soul. Roaring Fork Chalet has paved roads that are all well-maintained. The mountain roads are curvy, and the subdivision is steep in parts. No four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet except in the winter months. Dog accepted with/ prior approval (fee applies).

Cozy, wheelchair-accessible, recently renovated cabin with unique decor and a sitting porch, located in a beautiful, mature, piedmont forest that abounds with wildlife and has hiking trails along New Hope Creek. Ideal for a quiet retreat but only 8 minutes from UNC Hospital, Hillsborough Campus and within 15 to 25 minutes from Duke University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina Central University and historic downtown Hillsborough. The little house is next to a 2 acre pond(that fluctuates), in a small neighborhood, 15 minutes from Brevard and Rosman. Upstairs is a covered porch with a bench, and down stairs is another covered porch with a swing and laundry room. Inside is a Queen bed, full kitchen, and a three-quarter bathroom. Pet friendly. Fire pit. This is the only house on the pond, and you will have your own dock. DISCLAIMER: THE POND IS LOW & OUT OF MY CONTROL! East Fork River, Dupont, and Pisgah Forest are nearby.

Virginia’s Country Cottage, a charming guest house constructed in 2020, nestled on 40 acres behind our residence. Enjoy your own private yard and relax on the new outdoor patio featuring a gas fire pit. This 950-square-foot retreat offers tranquility in a secluded setting while still being close to Western Blvd. Nearby amenities include restaurants, grocery stores, a movie theater, mall, and Walmart, making it an ideal spot for those visiting cities surrounding onslow county.

In addition to the primary apartment, there is a large porch with doors from both the living area and the kitchen. The shower has modern exposed piping. We will provide miniature shampoos and soaps (just like a hotel would!). There is a second smart TV in the bedroom. Free parking for two vehicles in the dedicated parking. The kitchen is full size kitchen with all appliances and a separate laundry room. Coffee maker, as well as electric tea kettle, creamer, and sugar.
