Lydford House is ideally situated off the A30 and on Route27 within the tranquil village of Lydford in Dartmoor National Park. Lydford Gorge is a 15-minute walk away. We are 'Eco Friendly' cutting out single use plastics and using local product/suppliers. All our mattresses are handmade locally from Dartmoor wool and our pillows are 100 wool filled. A quite and tranquil place to stay with beautiful gardens and views. The village is well served with 2 pubs within 10 minutes walking distance.

Conveniently located on the road between Tavistock and Okehampton, both within a 10 minute drive. Easy access to a range of attractions such as Lydford Gorge, Wheal Betsy, Tavy Cleave and many more. The Devon Coast to Coast cycle route runs past, which makes it the perfect spot for those looking for a base for their cycling or hiking trip.

Our home is set on Dartmoor National Park surrounded by some of the UK’s most stunning scenery. The house is light and spacious with a well kept garden overlooking beautiful Dartmoor. Plenty of parking as well. There are many different walks straight from our doorstep, and many cycle routes. Ten minute drive away is Tavistock an ancient pannier market town. Five minutes walk to the local pub. So many Devon attractions within driving distance and about an hour to Devon and Cornish coasts.
