One of a kind Log Cabin - natural raw wood feel and look. Hardwood floor, ceramic tile\new shower. Great for Winter stays, the wood stove keeps it very warm. AC keeps it cool in the Summer, 3 piece bathroom with new shower, furnished living\dining room, kitchen: electric stove\oven, new fridge\freezer, new microwave, new toaster, coffee maker, utensils, pots and pans. This cabin site is tucked into the forest at the base of the Deacon Escarpment with a view of the Bonnechere Valley Hills. It is a 10 min hike to the Escarpment Lookout, and roughly a 25 min hike to your canoe on a small lake. There is a picnic table, firepit, outdoor gazebo bar, seasonal outdoor shower and private outhouse. The cabin comes with a map of 30km of trails for you to hike or snowshoe. No neighbours within 500m in any direction. Possibility of occasional guest cars going past.

Our guest house is a cozy log cabin with three floors. It is the original homesteader cabin to our property, revived and restored with care. Nestled in the Bonnechere region of Renfrew County, this magical place of solitude offers nature right outside your door. Local paintings by Ottawa Valley landscape artist Angela St. Jean displayed throughout the cabin feature lakes, rivers, and natural places and spaces that surround us.
