Roper's Cozy Rock Cabin

Relax in this native stone rustic cabin built of local rock and cedar logs. With a waterfall trickling into a spring tank pool right outside your back door & a cozy gas log fire beside your queen bed, you’ll never want to leave. Nestled in the Roasting Ear Creek valley on 200 private acres, this cabin is the perfect spot for a couple to relax and unplug. There’s a big screened porch for lounging with a HOT TUB, an outdoor kitchen, dining area, ceiling fans, & beautiful views. **Now with WiFi!**

The Roost

Cabin #2 was built in 2018. Pine exterior, covered porch with breathtaking views of the Ozarks and Lake Norfork in the distance. Cedar lined walls, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, double bed and pull out love seat. This one is perfect for the couple trying to get away and enjoy some privacy or a few fisherman headed to Lake Norfork. We also cater to traveling nurses and doctors. The Roost is very unique. Bring the whole family to this 14-acre slice of heaven just (3) bends upstream from the White River confluence and (4) miles from Ranchette White River AGFC access nestled on Crooked Creek, Arkansas’ premier blue ribbon smallmouth bass stream! Fish, swim, snorkel, sit out on the deck and enjoy nature with this secluded log home. If you have more than (12) guests, please contact host as we will always try and accommodate! Norfork Lake is only minutes away and Bull Shoals Lake is 45 minutes. The cabin is set back off a quiet county road and is surrounded by large oak trees. Wildlife is often visible from the comfort of the wrap around porch. The interior is bright and airy featuring hardwood floors, exposed beams, and vaulted ceilings.

Wildlife abounds as you hike the marked trails or warm by the fire pit. The cozy living room offers a gas fireplace. Sleeping space includes a queen bed in the beautifully furnished bedroom, a couch in the living room, and a twin bed in the loft. There is a fully-equipped kitchen. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower & washer/dryer.

This cabin sits on 68 secluded acres near the Buffalo National River, mid-America's premier canoeing/kayaking destination. We are located near Buffalo Point in the lower Buffalo River section. Be sure to review driving directions as navigation apps are not always reliable in this area. You will drive approx. 4 miles on maintained gravel road. There is not a more comfortable cabin for rent in the Ozarks. Give us a try -- you will not want to leave!
