Welcome! My husband, our three kiddos and myself are life-long locals to the area and don't ever plan to leave! Our "Quirky" Cottage is just that!! If you want to experience "old Florida" come and stay with us in our quirky cottage nestled in old oak trees! It was originally built in 1960 as a camping cabin, it came in a box as a do it yourself kit! There are a few left around town - really unique and private space! Located just 5-10 minutes from the Okaloosa Island beaches and everything downtown Fort Walton Beach has to offer and just 15 minutes to Destin. (all depending on traffic!)

It is a 10-Minute drive to either Eglin Air Force Base or Hurlburt Field--and you can be at the beach in less than 10 minutes! Destin is only a 15-minute drive! Publix Grocery Store/Pharmacy is 1-mile away, and our local Walmart for any extras that you might need is only 2 miles from the property.

Located in the Chateau La Mer resort complex guests have access to a private parking space, heated pool, tennis courts, and private beach access. There is not an ocean view with this condo. This condo is 850 sq ft. It works well for a couple with up to two children. We do not recommend more than three adults staying at one time.
