Stylishly furnished with many original architectural details - 13 foot ceilings, original hardwood floors and mantles, clawfoot tub with shower, and private, landscaped courtyard. Stylishly furnished - the living room sports a 52 inch t.v. + Amazon Fire Stick - the bedroom has a Tempurpedic king size mattress - the fully equipped kitchen has a residential size fridge and stove with seating for four. The private courtyard is located right off of the kitchen with a Weber charcoal grill and seating for four as well. Central heat and air, dishwasher, wifi, Keurig coffee maker, iron/ironing board and blow dryer. This apartment, as well as the courtyard, is private. You have your own gated entrance. It is not a shared space. We live on the property so if there is something you need, we can quickly respond and assist you. The home is in the historic, offbeat Marigny district, known for its bistros, bars, and music venues, adored by locals as well as vacationers. Walk to the French Quarter, Bywater, and Frenchman Street. Public transport and bike rental are close by. Located steps away from the St Claude bus line and a 8 minute walk to the St Claude streetcar line, both can take you to every part of the city. Walk or bike to Frenchman St and the French Quarter. We're on the CLOSEST residential block to the ferry, giving close access to the French Quarter, Downtown, Superdome, streetcar, & 2 malls. For something more low-key, explore Algiers Point’s historic streets and levee or hang out at our restaurants, coffee shop, & bars - all a 5 minute walk away. Know that linens are ALWAYS freshly laundered after each guest.

Location location location! Perfect location for being in the middle of the action. This Marigny triangle studio apartment is nestled between the live music on Frenchmen street and the nightlife in the french quarter. With that comes some noise, but this location is worth the trade off. Walk to everything the city has to offer. Go watch the street musicians or listen to a band at a Frenchmen street bar just steps from your door. No need to use public restrooms when yours is so close!

This guest house was built in the 1970's and care was taken so that it would match the period of the front house, which was built in the 1850's. It is a 1 bedroom (queen size bed), 1 bath house. The futon mattress is an 8" memory foam. Dogs must be under 20 pounds and there is an additional fee. Please mention in your booking request if you intend to bring a pet so that we can adjust the total accordingly.
