The cosy cottage is perfect for peaceful strolls across Donegal’s breathtaking beach’s& it’s the ultimate backdrop for a low-key romantic break, however, you’ll have to make friends with the cows while you’re there!

Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s Wi-Fi but no television , just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continent breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER

Luxurious modern cottage

This modern, luxurious cottage is truly special. It is located in the Tawnawully mountains by Lough Eske. It is set on 12 acres with a river running through it and a tumbling waterfall right by the cottage. Only 15 minutes drive to Donegal town, which has some really nice restaurants and bars. There is a castle to explore in the town and a wonderful craft village with a very good cafe. Ten minutes drive to Harveys Point and twelve minutes from Lough Eske castle, both reputable 5 * hotels.

The historic Donegal Town Centre is only a 3 minute drive or 20 minute walk. We have Lidl Supermarket, Supermacs and Papa Johns Pizza less than a 1 minute drive or 3 minute walk. The Town has everything that visitors require i.e. Restaurants, Entertainment, walks & tours of surrounding areas. A good base to explore the Wild Atlantic Way. Check in time is 4pm to 7pm. We are also 10minutes from Solis Lough Eske castle and Harvey’s point. It is 3.5 miles/6km from Donegal Town (7 min drive N56) which has a great selection of restaurants and pubs; approx 1 mile/2km from the village of Mountcharles and 1.8 mile(3km) to the nearest beach, perfect for kayaking! The Loft is on the Wild Atlantic Way, making it the ideal base to visit Sliabh Liag cliffs; surf in Rossnowlagh or stroll through Glenveagh gardens.

Set on the hill side up a private track over looking the valley and pastures. There is a great and friendly local pub 10 minute walk away and Donegal town and Murvagh beach and golf links are a 10 minute drive. There are fantastic walks from the doorstep.
