A backyard path to hammock & chill spot by Ripples (view only, but 1/2 mile away is Long Pond for swimming, canoe/kayak rental). Grill. Firepit. Tranquility! It sits right in the center of Mount Desert Island at the top of the Somes Sound - making it easy to navigation easy on the Lung-Shaped island instead of staying in one of the corners of MDI. The small backyard area is a nice private spot to relax without having to bump into any other guests in neighboring units as it is surrounded by fencing.
