Perfecto para unas vacaciones a pie, el Kirklees Way pasa por la propiedad y el Pennine Way y Oldham Way están muy cerca. Un gran lugar para ir en bicicleta de montaña con el sendero Transpennine a pocos kilómetros de distancia y un montón de ciclovías/senderos a la vuelta de la esquina. Pubs locales de cerveza real y muchos cafés en el pueblo de Marsden a poca distancia a pie (15 minutos) a lo largo del canal. Hermoso paisaje, las vistas desde la casa son increíbles.
