The cottage is perfect for walkers and non-walkers as there is plenty to do around the area. The cottage overlooks the village green and consists of a cosy sitting room with log burner, kitchen/dining room, and WC on ground floor. The first floor accommodates a beautifully decorated double bedroom and spacious bathroom. The property benefits from an exterior porch and utility room which provides secure storage space for boots, bikes or golf clubs.

Thornythwaite Farm is in Matterdale which is a peaceful valley off the beaten track but with great access to all the popular areas of the Lakes. There are plenty of walks from the door and a good pub, The Royal, is just a short stroll down the road.
