Welcome to my little 8 acre oasis! Being the first farm I’ve ever lived on, I understand the peace and tranquility it can offer those who have never experienced it. Enjoy meeting my horses and mini donkeys, take a walk through my woods, or have a fire! Aside from being just far enough, but just close enough to all the happenings in the city, my newly remodeled private entry, ground level basement apartment offers an escape from the noise and a place to unwind and relax. Cared for by Luke and Beka. Jøtul fireplace, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable queen beds, heated bathroom floors, and private balcony over the creek. Coffee and pastries downstairs by day, cocktails and live music on weekend nights. River trails out the door. Sleeps 4. Small-town charm. Come rest.

Welcome to a backyard getaway that will drop your mouth in awe. Kinda like "GLAMPING" but better!Has heat and Air .Unique, corky but a great place to relax and put your feet up in the hammocks inside. Must be able to climb a 6 foot ladder to get to loft to sleep. Can come to the main house to go to the bathroom or use the best compost toilet ever attached to your getaways space. Kitchen area if needed in wine area to use. Firepit and grill to use for cooking also. A place like no other!

Updated 1950's architect-built passive-solar artist retreat home, surrounded by trees and Japanese Gardens. Casual comfort far from sterile, filled with art. Complete tranquility 10 min from downtown Mpls and very close to both U of MN campus. Lively, friendly neighborhood in walking distance to grocery store, gift shops, wine shop, yoga studio, coffee shops and great restaurants.

Old Hauenstein Brewery - Ground Level 1

Stay in a real brewery built in 1891 where they brewed the Hauenstein beer until 1969. Remodeled in the rustic industrial style of the era, rent the lower level with 2 romantic rooms, a parlor, coffee bar and one bathroom. No kitchen. The private upper garden has a fire pit, cellar and dining area surrounded by forest and fire-flies. The building is surrounded by an underground creek, so it stays cool naturally (no AC needed). It’s a 7 min walk to Schell’s brewery & 4 min drive downtown.

Historic 1880 Settler Cabin, Merryweather Farm

Merryweather Farm is a peaceful place on the open prairie. We raise organic garlic, apples, orchard pork, free-range chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and charming, lovable dogs and cats. Our goal is to provide a true pioneer experience with just a bit of comfort added. 1880 Norwegian Settlers Cabin is not modernized, attached barn has been rebuilt into uninsulated screen porch. Cabin has great old iron bed, loft has twin bed, screened in porch has day bed. Private modern bath included.

Cozy Cedar Treehouse

Our space is a 30 x 12 cedar 4 season porch enhanced in boho decor with Earth's natural elements and warmth of a treehouse. Relaxing authentic Turkish globes surround you. Private sitting areas in the trees, perfect for grilling, entertaining or hanging low and watching the stars. Private courtyard for a more tranquil, intimate setting with a gas glass lit firepit. Come alone, bring your spouse, friend or child. It's a perfect spiritual retreat located 45 min west of MSP Airport.

The perfect solution for cabin fever! This romantic & private log cabin overlooks beautiful Diamond lake. Two queen size beds, one is adjustable w/massage. Hand-hewn rock gas fireplace, massage chair, fully stocked modern kitchen, wifi, YouTube TV (local channels & espn) & streaming. Enjoy the gazebo & hot tub next to the cabin throughout the seasons. I live across the street & clean and sanitize, so I know it is done properly. Note: Optional (additional charge) game room available.
