Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

Less than 1 mile from Bike Park Wales, and 3 miles from Merthyr Tydfil, 9 miles from Brecon Beacons and 22 miles from Cardiff, with the benefit of private parking for 2 vehicles and ample further parking opposite. Also a safe secure alarmed bike shed, suitable for 5 large bikes, covered by CCTV, with a metered heater. AC is pay as you go, which covers the whole cottage.

Falls Cottage, a beautiful three bed miners cottage that used to be two separate miners cottages originally built in the 1860s. Now known as “Falls Cottage” since around 1939. It’s set on the bank of the River Taff in mature gardens with close access to the Taff Trail linking Brecon to Cardiff Bay and within walking distance to the train station. This is the perfect cottage to stay if wanting to visit bike park Wales, Zip World and to explore South Wales with its excellent A470 location.

I purchased this with my ex-husband after many trips to BPW Wales, planning to let it out then retire in 20 years or so! Nothing has changed except I now have no husband (yay)! Our newly renovated home is in Troedyrhiw, outside Merthyr Tydfil. It sleeps 5, with a king size bed and triple bunk sleeper. The living and dining area has Sky and Netflix, the kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Side access leads to a large secure garden. Great road links to Brecon Beacons, Swansea and Cardiff. A bus stop and the train station are within a few minutes walk. This is a perfect base to enjoy everything that Wales has to offer!

Nestled in the cute village of Bedlinog, our one bedroom property recently refurbish to high standard in beautiful surroundings, with easy access to the Brecon Beacons National Park. Sleeps 2/4 people with one double bed upstairs and one sofa bed in the living room. Outsdie has a small courtyard. Offers a perfect base to enjoy the best of south wales like a less then 15 minutes drive from the base of Pen Y Fan and and 25 minutes from Ystradfellte four water falls.

Bwthyn Bach (little cottage) is our beautiful, self-contained studio, boasting incredible sunset views of the Brecon Beacons and Pen-y-Fan from your bedside. It’s perfect for a relaxing getaway, with patio and garden facilities accessible. Breakfast basics are included with fresh eggs from our hens when available Please be aware that this is only accessible by a single tarmac track that winds up the mountain. Access in the winter can be limited.
