Our home is a quarter mile from a railroad crossing (and this is a community built around the railroad) so you may hear trains going by. Most people find it charming, quaint and pretty typical of a small town. Kids love it. Walking distance to downtown Pine Mountain and a few minutes walking or biking to Callaway Gardens. Nearby attractions include several wineries and breweries, FDR national park, the Wild Animal Safari, and more. This is an old rustic house. If you leave the doors open, bugs may come in as we are in the woods.

The 13.5 mile trail spans from PIne Mountain to Hamilton with many sights along the way. FDR State Park, Calloway Gardens, and the Wild Animal Safari are just minutes away.
