A peaceful escape retreat, the Aurora Lights Cabins are independent, family-run, studio cabins in a picturesque setting overlooking the Chugach Mountain Range and backed up to protected wilderness land which hosts sandhill cranes in summer and moose year-round. Our meticulously designed cabin offers unique salmon-themed decor, a king-sized bed OR 2 twin beds, black-out curtains and blinds for relaxing sleep even in the midnight sun, air conditioning, heater, bathroom, and a kitchenette.

The views from the large windows and deck are stunning. Try some fishing, skating, kayaking, swimming or walk the trails. Grilling on the deck or a bonfire ( ask for firewood) overlooking the lake are great evening activities. Not the outdoor type, you’ll find this a peaceful place to unwind. Located 13 miles from Wasilla makes this spot ideal as your hub to exploring Alaska. We are happy to host your pets(dogs only) pets not allowed in any beds. Excessive pet hair will be charged $50.

A small cabin built like a studio apartment. Very roomy and homey — quaint, quiet and simple. There’s a garden with fresh greens and herbs for your enjoyment and world class hiking and skiing within 10 minutes. Palmer and Wasilla are 15 minutes away. There’s a large parking area and shed with fun outdoor gear to use, as well as a wood burning cedar sauna. Though we ask that you request/message before using it. Want pets? Come enjoy this relaxing MIL suite in the woods outside of Wasilla Alaska. The unit has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedding, memory foam pillows upon request. The bathroom has a full sized tub with a grab bar for safety. The towels are plush and there are bathroom necessities in case you forgot anything. There is inlaid floor heat, a generator in case there is ever a power outage. This place will feel just like home, don’t forget to bring your favorite dog with you.

Cabin in the woods in the heart of Wasilla. This cabin is located on our beautiful 3-acre property with its own private driveway. It has electricity, heat, and an RV-style water system. The neighborhood is quiet and down-town Wasilla is only a mile away and connected by sidewalks or bike trails. Venture to Hatcher's pass for picturesque hikes or to the Iditarod headquarters to mush with the huskies. There are many lakes nearby, fine cuisine, parks and other entertainment.

Come inside and warm up by the wood stove. There is plenty to do for everyone or do nothing at all and relax and enjoy all things Big Beaver Lake!!
