Solar-heated pool is open June-October. We are locked in by three dead-end roads, so it's very quiet. Large deck, large pool patio, kids' play structure, and more. The album cover photo was taken under our special and majestic oak tree and the photo was developed in the dark room that is now the bedroom.

As you step through the entrance and under the arch, you are transformed into another time and place. We have been told by guests they feel it reminds them of Italy, France, and Spain. The Hacienda is very private, behind the walls of the early California style home. The gardens are lush and filled with birds of all kinds. There are several vignettes to relax and watch nature. Nights are cool so there is no need for A/C if you leave window open at night.

Farm in the city & sweeping bayview

Our house is a half mile from downtown San Rafael. It is a 1/2 acre with goats, organic gardens, and a pool. It is a farm and resort all in one! We have a bay and city view from almost every room in the house. Wineries 20 miles away. Don't' worry if you're not interested in the farm, the unit is far enough away that you will not be bothered by it. For those who love a good petting zoo, feel free to visit our friendly animals.
