The property has a private parking area and garden. It has numerous footpaths and cycle routes on its door step and within the beautiful local village Abbots Bromley you will find 4 Pubs, Tearoom's, Indian Takeaway, Butchers and a well stocked village shop . The annex is perfect for short breaks visiting family, friends and business trips.

Quiet village getaway 20 mins from Alton Towers

This property was the old parish room which we have sympathetically given a make over. Lots of original features have been untouched. The photos do not do this property justice with its double height ceilings and huge log burner. A real hidden gem tucked away but close to everything. A great stay for those wanting a quiet couple of days or the thrills of Alton towers. Please note the sofabed is for under 15’ If you have 2 small children that don't mind sharing then we don't mind. Ticknall is just 2miles away, with beautiful walks through National Trust Calke Abbey and Anchor Church caves which is just a stones throw away. The cottage is self contained, with new facilities and open plan living. The stone walls, oak beams and vaulted ceiling with 3 sky light windows create a light spacious feeling.On evenings to enjoy being cosy, there is a electric log burner while you relax.
