Our cottage is just the right mix of rustic and comfort with wonderful mountain views across an expansive valley. It is designed to give that "home away from home" feeling. The Barn has two bedrooms and caters for up to 6-7 people The property is located close to safe sandy beaches at Rabbit Island (20 min drive and Kaiteriteri (30 min). Children are welcome and will enjoy the country experience of our farmyard animals, including our kune kune pig, Dudley and two characterful alpacas, Percy and Colin.

Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private estuary island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafes, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

Ruby Bay Beach Sleepout - 30 mins from Abel Tasman

This is our sleepout located next to our family home. It is artistic and peaceful. It is nestled within a 1 ha property with established fruit trees and many things for families to do and play. The sleepout has a separate wash space/kitchenette and bathroom, about 7 metres away from the sleepout. The beach is right opposite the house, and Mapua is a 2-minute drive. It's an ideal space to land in before and/or after a hike in the Abel Tasman, which is only 30 minutes away from us.
