The house is designated historic by the Manchester Historical Society and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. The Wickham House was originally built in 1790 as a tavern and later purchased in 1837 by Rev. Dr. Joseph Wickham, legendary headmaster of Burr and Burton. Rennsli Cabin is off grid + nestled on a forested plateau in the foothills of the Green Mountains. You will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, unplugged and able to regenerate. Kitchen is equipped with cooking essentials+ hosts provide water, coffee, tea, milk, fresh eggs + homemade soap. There is an indoor compostable toilet + outhouse + outdoor shower. Most seasons, the cabin is 100ft from parking, but weather conditions may require an 800 ft walk from parking at main house.

The historic “Smithy" at Consider Bardwell Farm is the original building used for blacksmithing by Consider Bardwell, himself, in the 1800s.
