The ancestral home underwent a complete renovation in 2016 and is owned by owned and occupied by 8 generations of the Lake family. *Events bookings are not permitted via this platform. The Rusty Brick Studio

Come relax at this unique, cozy studio and enjoy a quiet farm setting. The studio is located a mile from Newbern, along a main hwy 10 miles south of Greensboro, 20 east of Demopolis and 50 miles south of Tuscaloosa. The studio has brick floors and the interior wood walls and beams are from reclaimed barn wood. We want our guests to relax with a good cup of coffee, a great night's sleep and time to enjoy an Alabama sunset from the front porch chairs!

Popular with University of Alabama guests, honeymooners, hunters & rockstars (property can accommodate tour busses & vehicle + trailer). Surrounded by limitless acreage for privacy and an indoor/outdoor experience!

The Old Farmhouse (family friendly home near 45)

The Old Farmhouse on the Little Lapp Farm is a family-friendly house with spacious kitchen/dining and living room areas! It's not a 5-star resort by any means, but an old, nostalgic farmhouse with enough renovations to make it a comfy place to stay. We love hosting families at the Farmhouse. There are 3 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen, 1 full) and 2 full bathrooms. There's also a crib available in the master bedroom.

The Cabin in the Oakes

Located just five miles off Hwy 45, it’s well worth the drive to come rest your body and your soul at our cozy, secluded cabin. Spend your mornings sipping coffee on the front porch looking out across the peaceful pasture and your evenings around the fire pit in the backyard surrounded by trees.
