Original features include a huge 18th century stone fireplace and slate floors, alongside modern comforts such as a wood burning stove, open plan kitchen, shower room and king size bed (+travel cot on request). The cottage is set in a private garden with views of fields and trees. Private parking. Stable Cottage is situated in a secluded, peaceful 4 acre private woodland, just outside the picturesque village of Garve on the North 500 Route. An ideal spot to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life with beautiful walks and cycling routes right on the doorstep. The Cottage was once used as the horse stables that served the local estate. It has been tastefully renovated to ensure that guests enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

In Sutherland you can enjoy fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

You will be very welcome at our ' wee house', situated in Polglass, Achiltibuie, at Tigh Uisdean Bed and Breakfast. We are situated on the beautiful Coigach peninsula in Wester Ross. The cottage is light and airy with stunning, panoramic views over the Summer Isles. Downstairs, there is an open plan sitting room/ small kitchen area,utility room, bathroom with shower, bedrooms up a 'paddle' staircase. (check photo for suitability). Can accommodate 2 couples, more spacious for 2 people.
