Our quaint sea-side cottage is located on Pennington’s favoured beachside Cherry Lane. Halter Cottage is positioned in a stunning expansive, mainly indigenous garden. The beach is accessed directly from the top of the garden. It is from the top of the dune that you can enjoy the sunrise, sundowners or whale watching in season Pennington is 80 kms from Durban & 600kms from Johannesburg. This friendly coastal village is warm year round & home to Umdoni Forest boasting good birds fauna & flora

Next to Makaranga (currently closed), the unit has 2 bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The kitchen area has a table & chairs, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, induction cooker, air fryer & microwave. Stocked with tea, coffee & sugar. Each of the rooms have a king size bed which can be split into 2 singles, so can sleep 4 people. One of the bedrooms has an aircon & the other a fan and heater. Deck has a bistro table & chairs as well as a daybed for relaxing. Off street parking for 1 car.

There are 3 separate cottages located on this property - Sea le Vie, SeaScape and Seas The Day Guests also have full access to the splash pool located next to the units. UNFORTUNATELY THIS UNIT DOES NOT TAKE CHILDREN. Parking is in a designated parking bay on the private road. There is security cameras on site.
