You know your holiday has begun as soon as you arrive at Carrick Shore. It's beautiful sea views and restful atmosphere create a holiday to remember. Tucked away on the beautiful Galloway Coast in the South West of Scotland, this delightful pine chalet has all the comforts for a relaxed break. Set in its own grounds, this chalet is part of a group of beach houses, a stones throw from the sea. You just need to step out onto the decking to enjoy the views and interact with the local wildlife.

This bespoke, purpose built wooden chalet features open plan living kitchen and dining area with wood burning stove and two spacious en-suite bedrooms with super king beds, that can be converted to twin beds. All rooms open onto a private patio with outdoor seating so you can relax and enjoy spectacular views and sunsets over the Fleet Valley National Scenic Area; then once the sun goes down, enjoy the stunning star-filled night skies of the Galloway Dark Sky Park. Use of a wood fired sauna.

Shore Escape

Shore Escape is a self-catering, coastal, family-run, handcrafted retreat with sea views and a stones throw from the shore line of Carsluith Bay. It is situated on the edge of the UK's first Dark Sky Park and situated on the South Coast 300 route. Cedar View is a luxury stable conversion sharing the same fantastic views as 3littlehuts that can be enjoyed from your own enclosed verandah. Sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms, the first bedroom is a Superking and is a larger bedroom, the second is a Superking in a smaller bedroom. Depending on the weather, you can luxuriate in the outdoor bath, or be cozy beside the wood burning stove enjoying a sea view. A perfect destination for exploring Galloway and is 1/2 mile from GGS Yard Wedding venue.

Spacious beach house with private enclosed garden, ample parking area with private access down to the beach. Well equipped for family life. 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. TV and Wifi. Plenty of games and books etc for the young ones. Carrick Bay has plenty of opportunities to fish, swim, walk, cycle, sail, canoe, windsurf or paddle board. Or of course just chill with a cold drink and stargaze. Friday check in, 3 night minimum booking in winter months and minimum 7 days from April to November.

The Lairds Bothy at Knockbrex Castle

Visitors to this wonderful area can stay within the grounds of Knockbrex Castle. The area is a walkers and biking paradise and just a short walk (5-10 minutes) to various beaches. Travel a little to sample the delights in the local area like the chocolate of the Cocoabean Company. Enjoy a walk to the local pubs for lunch at Gatehouse of Fleet or Borgue. For a special evening meal The Ship Inn at Gatehouse of Fleet has lovely locally produced food. car essential, no public transport.

Oak Tree Hut

Unfortunately no dogs/children/infants are allowed. Oak Tree Hut is situated on our working sheep farm in Dumfries and Galloway. The views from the hut looks over St John’s Town of Dalry and up onto the Rhinns of Kells. Lie in bed watching the sunrise and sit on the verandah or soak in the outside bath while watching the sunset. Watch the bird life and livestock peacefully fly and amble by. The hut has everything you need to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

Kinganton Bothy, private studio with sea views

The Bothy is a modern self-contained studio adjacent to our home. An old stone bothy converted in 2017, the accommodation offers a private open plan space with it's own entrance, patio garden and parking. Situated on a smallholding looking out to sea in a beautiful region on the Solway coast, secluded beaches and coves are only a 15 minute stroll and the artists town of Kirkcudbright a short drive away. We offer a 15% discount for weekly stays.
