Peaceful A-frame Getaway

This is an ideal romantic vacation spot for couples. It is located in a quiet, serene neighborhood and has a large deck to enjoy. There is usually snow in winter. This is a kid friendly property with a pack-n-play, booster seat, and a play kitchen area in the downstairs. There is a king bed located upstairs in the loft (winding staircase is steep) and a double bed located downstairs in a bedroom. Kirkwood remains open! Still great snow conditions on the mountain. Our apartment is located under our main house, with its own keyless private entrance. You'll enjoy a quiet and peaceful setting among tall pines, with wildlife abound. Amador County is rich in gold mining history, and has many charming gold rush towns for you to visit. If your travel journeys include both Yosemite and Lake Tahoe, we are conveniently located between the two ( 2 1/2 hours from Yosemite, and 1 1/2 from Tahoe)

Historic Ham’s Station is now renting our beautiful newly renovated cabins. Each cabin was built in the 1890’s. Each cabin has a newly built deck attached for enjoying our beautiful Mountain View. The cabins are located right next to Ham’s Station on hwy 88. A family style restaurant with a full bar. So, you won’t have to go very far to find delicious food after a day of fishing, hiking, skiing, mountain biking, or any other activities our beautiful Sierra mountains have to offer.

Our home has recently been remodeled. Our place is good for couples and families (with kids).
