Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. An ideal base to explore, adventure or relax - taking in the 360° stunning views of the Lune Valley, Ingleborough and the gorgeous sunsets. The barn sleeps 6 people. It has a family bedroom which sleeps 4, a double bedroom, a cosy lounge, a bright conservatory, a spacious dining room, two bathrooms and an outdoor dining area.

There are many walks from the cottage across fields, through woods and along the peaceful River Greta. It is in perfect striking distance for walking and exploring the Dales and Lake District. Ingleton, Kirkby Lonsdale and Settle are all within easy reach. The Three Peaks challenge is nearby.

Located at the end of a narrow track, it is enveloped by woodland, fields and streams. The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

The cottage is in the small village of Gressingham in the beautiful Lune valley and Forest of Bowland AONB. There is easy access to both the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales national parks. In addition the attractions of Kirkby Lonsdale, the historical city of Lancaster and RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss are only 15-20 minutes away. Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
