If desired, we are delighted to guide you through the house and share with you almost 200 years of our home's rich history. Roam freely through our 120 acres of gardens, farmland and woodlands, or enjoy a guided tour of our grounds and learn of present day efforts to transform our land into a nature reserve.

Villa Jokubas The Jungle

Located 5 minutes from heritage town Abbeyleix in co. Laois is Villa Jokubas a log cabin village set on a hill overlooking surrounding countryside. All our cabins combine modern finishes and rustic county charms. Be treated with all modern luxuries inside and outside, enjoy expansive yard, covered patio areas with private modern hot tubs, "Kamado" BBQ grills, fully stocked bar with taps of our home brewed IPA beer. We charge €25 for hottub or sauna for one use. One Drink Included.

Cosy Loft in the Trees

This is a gorgeous little hut built in the top corner of a hay barn, but has the feeling of a comfortable treehouse. It is located in a peaceful rural setting overlooking a field. It is quite near other buildings in which we live, but it is totally private. Access requires climbing two short flights of sturdy steps which bring you on to its balcony Kilkenny city is a handy 20 minute drive away, but a car is needed as there is no public transport. A perfect place to retreat to.

Our cottage is nestled in the beautiful Slieve Blooms mountains. This cottage boasts a traditional thatched roof surrounding by fantastic countryside. The cottage features two cozy bedrooms with comfortable beds and soft linens. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up hearty meals with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
