Sweet Fern Cabin on Merrymeeting Bay

Nestled in the woods on 2.5 waterfront acres where the Muddy River meets Merrymeeting Bay. The cabin is 350 square feet of simple living with a panoramic view. There is a three season hot water outdoor shower and wood burning stove with plenty of wood included. Kitchen is fully stocked with cooking supplies and has off grid cold water sink. Outbuilding with composting toilet is right out the back door. Kayaks and stand up paddle board are available to rent for an additional fee.

SILVER MOON, a Yurt for All Seasons

Silver Moon at The Appleton Retreat is quite private, check out the Trail Map. This contemporary yurt features a private therapeutic hot tub on the wrap around deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. Silver Moon is located in a wooded area close to a bog that attracts a variety of wildlife. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. The Waterfront Cottage sits directly on the shores of Snow Pond, 15 minutes from Colby College and downtown Waterville and 1/2 mile from the Snow Pond Center for the Arts. Enjoy the BEST sunset views from the private dock and listen to the waves and loons at night. The private front deck is the perfect spot for a sunset cocktail after a day of swimming and kayaking from the sandy beach. You also have a private outdoor hot soaking tub and water view barrel sauna. Paradise!

This beautiful, newly renovated home is three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with an open living and dining room waiting to give your family or group of friends the ideal Maine vacation experience! On site parking, a lovely yard, a new sauna on a beautiful deck overlooking the water, nearby fields and steps away from the famous Olson House on one side, you can sit on the deck and overlook the working lobster wharf with fishermen coming and going daily on the other side!

Wren Cabin + Wood fired Sauna

We built the Wren Cabin to be a serene space filled with light and art and with lots of cozy details. Lofted ceilings, a spiral staircase and large open concept with lofted bedroom. The cabin also has a gorgeous wood-fired sauna for those colder days. Wren cabin has a large wraparound deck for relaxing and an outdoor fire pit, as well as shared access to Adams Pond. The space is modern Scandinavian, light and aery, and filled with thoughtful details.

Private apt with balcony view/hot tub

The unit is located in a 7-room house NOT occupied by the owners. Entry is through a common door next to the parking spot. Apartment entrance is at the top of the second floor and secured with a keyless lock. You have the entire third floor to yourselves. There is a well-stocked, full kitchen/TV room either four power recliners and balcony overlooking the Kennebec River. The bedroom has a queen bed with second TV and spacious, tiled bathroom.
