A wonderful villa in the Nuuksio National Park

The beautiful scenery of the national park opens up in every direction from the windows of the house. Outdoor trails start right from the front door! Relax in the gentle steam of a traditional Finnish sauna, and soak in a hot tub under the starry sky (new clean water for every guest - also in winter). Children will enjoy the large yard with a playhouse, trampoline, swing and yard toys. The villa is located 39 kilometers from Helsinki Airport and 36 kilometers from the center of Helsinki.

This new studio apartment is located in a well-regarded area next to Kauniainen train station with excellent transport connections. Trains reach Helsinki in 20 min, Pasila in 15 min, and Helsinki-Vantaa Airport approx. in 45 min. Major highways are easily accessible by car, and free parking is available nearby. Grani Shopping Center is within walking distance with shops, restaurants, cafés, and a pharmacy. Great outdoor and sports facilities nearby, and Jorvi Hospital is a short distance away.

Kaupat ym. palvelut noin 20 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Hyvät julkiset yhteydet Helsingin keskustaan (20 + 25 min). Nuuksion kansallispuistoon bussilla 40 minuuttia ja omalla autolla 15 min. Lähimmälle bussipysäkille 800 metriä. Lentoasemalle kätevin yhteys taksilla tai omalla autolla noin puoli tuntia. Pihassa ilmainen parkkipaikka kahdelle autolle.

Majoitu luonnonkauniissa laaksossa keskellä kaurapeltoja ja hevoslaitumia. Matkaa lentokentälle on silti vain n. 20 min! Täällä ihastelet iltanuotiolla peuroja ja heräät aamulla linnunlauluun tai kanojen kotkotukseen. Teltan viereen muuttaa kesäksi myös kolme lammasta ja meillä asustaa lisäksi kanoja, jotka pitävät sinulle seuraa vierailusi ajan. A convenience store 200 meters away. The bright apartment on the top floor accommodates 1-2 adults and one child under the age of 1,5 years. Good outdoor opportunities invite you to explore nature and the area. The Sello shopping center, just 3 kilometers away, offers more than 170 shops and restaurants for leisure time.

Within a 40min drive from Helsinki, Katve Nature Retreat is our family-owned hideout surrounded by clean and quiet nature and ashore a beautiful freshwater lake. We are also located just a few km from the sea and archipelago with great hiking and paddling opportunities. The Kaisla Cabin is one of our 4 cozy cabins (two cabins semidetached) each with a private sauna. By the lake you'll find an outdoor fireplace and a summer kitchen perfect for cooking by the fire and enjoying the sunsets.

Kaunis vastaremontoitu mökki ja suuri rinnetontti puhtaan Storträsk-järven rannalla. Piha on rauhallinen ja luonnonkaunis paikka lomapäivän viettoon jossa naapuritkaan eivät ole näkö etäisyydellä. Terassilta voit ihailla järvimaisemaa tai metsän elämää. Sauna on aivan rannan tuntumassa, veneellä tai sub-laudalla voit lähteä soutelemaan tai kalastelemaan. Talvisinkin pääsee aina uimaan. Pihalta löytyy mm. kaasugrilli ja hiiligrilli sekä nuotiopaikka. Lakanat ja pyyhkeet sisältyy hintaan.

Good for 2 pers (+1 on sofa). Located in centra of city Kauniainen (= In the heart of town Espoo). You can reach us by train from airport with one change ca 45 min. With train you get also into Helsinki centra within 18 min :) Train station is just 200m away from our 40m2 Apartment with 1 bedroom "140 cm bed". Food store, restaurant, pizzeria, coffee shops, pharmacy etc direct outside door and green area as well. Free parking. Excellent Wifi connection. Late check out is possible.

Countryside home near Nuuksio Forest

My place used to be an attic of a barn, but now it is a cozy home with everything you need for modern life. We are situated very close to Nuuksio National Park: mushroom and berry picking is possible close-by. With some luck you can see elks and deers from the terrace. The house easily takes four people, but with with sofas and additional mattresses, a few more. Pets are welcome, if they behave. Sauna is available upon request and for a 20€ fee.
