Wheelers Den is a cosy and quiet self contained house in a lovely rural village. Ideal as a base for experiencing authentic village life and exploring Nara, Wazuka and southern Kyoto. Amazing cycling, hiking, temples, 700 year old stone carvings, tea plantations, rice fields and mountains all close. Free rental bikes available. By train Nara is 15 minutes. Iga ninja museum and castle 35 mins. Kyoto 57 mins. Osaka 50 mins. Free parking for one car. A great place for a unique experience of Japan.

It takes 3 hours from Kyoto, Osaka, and Nara. You can see a totally different aspect of the city side of Japan. Green mountains, clear river, Firefly, many stars, rice field, Vegetable field. The house is a beautiful nature. And also we have good neighbors. You will see the real Japanese countryside that is not written in the guidebook. The room is surrounded by my father's and my artworks. The huge kitchen, living room, and garden are yours. Please enjoy and relax in the cozy house.

とくとは香川県豊島（てしま）の築約80年の古民家を改修し、2021年の夏から営業を始めました。 趣ある石垣の上の広い敷地にゆったりと構えられた古民家で、落ち着いた邸宅の風情を堪能いただけます。古い製法による波打ったガラス窓やとても大きな灯篭など、当時の贅を凝らした建築をお楽しみください。 豊島家浦港から歩いて10分ほどの便利な立地で、のどかな集落全体が見渡せる高台に位置しており、その先には穏やかな瀬戸内海の眺望が拡がります。また、晴れた日の夜には星空や奥の山から昇る月をのんびりと眺めることができます。 建物は、「本館」と「別館」からなり、感染症対策として、それぞれの建物に１組ずつ受け入れるようにしております。ご家族などで安心してお泊まりいただけるよう配慮しております。 建物の背後には畑と豊かな里山が広がり、ヤギも飼育しています。また、すぐ近くの静かなため池や、集落の入り組んだ路地も散策におすすめです。さらに、とくとでは様々な体験プログラム（現在、感染症拡大防止の為休止中）にも参加していただけます。 瀬戸内の島時間を「とくと」お楽しみください。

In the midst of a vibrant forest at the foot of a glorious mountain lies this bygone gem. Step away from the hustle and bustle and experience country lifestyle in this peaceful 150 year old folk house. The rural landscape and starry sky relaxes you in no time. Rent the entire building with parking lot for up to 8 people and 3 small / 2 ordinary cars. It’s perfect for long-term stays. The local grocery stores have bountiful seasonal ingredients and local game meat too.

TAKIO guesthouse HANARE 2

Check-in time is from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Due to other work commitments, I can't accept check-ins after 5pm, but I will do my best to accommodate check-ins before 2pm. Check-in is not possible on dates listed in the house rules and Sundays. (Staying and check-out possible) This is a guest house that is a 100-year-old Japanese traditional house that I renovated myself. The old house is 300㎡ and the field is 300㎡. Recommended for couples, solo travelers, and families.

Esta casa tradicional japonesa de madera centenaria en la ciudad de Inabe cuenta con dos dormitorios y puede alojar hasta 8 huéspedes. Está disponible solo para un grupo por día. Se aplica tarifa adicional a partir de la segunda persona. Hay 3 plazas de aparcamiento disponibles. Dispone de una cocina sencilla para preparar comidas por cuenta propia. Se encuentra a solo 4 minutos en coche de las aguas termales naturales “Ageki Hot Springs”.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
