Runamuk Farm

Picturesque location on farmland with views of the mountains. We are a micro farm. Wake up and watch the sunrise and go for a short hike on the property, and get to know the animals. We are located 35 minutes from Saratoga Springs and Lake George, NY and 45 minutes from Dorset and Manchester, VT. Hike the Adirondack or Green Mountains, paddle the streams or go to a nearby small city for a play, a festival, or a concert. There is a long list of things to do and see within an hour of our camp.

Our cozy space includes 1 private bedroom with a queen size bed (linens included), a couch that can sleep an additional 2, TV, dining space and a complete kitchen. Lounge on the spacious deck, fish, take a dip in the river and enjoy comfort of our cozy space!

Our small above-garage guesthouse on the New York/Vermont border is a retreat from busy life. The open floor plan, airy apartment has windows on all sides & overlooks woods & meadow. The guesthouse is ideal for those looking to get away from electronics and the internet (note: no Wifi), and hike and bike the area’s trails, and/or paddle the Battenkill River and area lakes. Or just sit on the deck with a book and cup of tea. Pets are welcome (we do charge a small fee for pets)!

The house is NOT on the lake itself, but it is surrounded by trees in a lovely secluded spot. The only heat is a wood stove... but there is a 4-person cedar barrel sauna in the woods that is electric. A classic 1952 Spartanette travel trailer serves as an extra bedroom. This is a true retreat for romance and adventure.

The post and beam structure is private and quiet as it is distanced from my family home . Walking distance to Salem Central, Fort Salem Theater, the Historic Salem Courthouse, Jacko's, Salem Art Work, On a Limb Bakery, and less than an hour to vermont sking. Come stay in our secure 2-room suite plus bathroom with a separate entrance uniquely filled with local art and antiques. Includes cube-sized refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave for use.

Quiet and Cozy Country Cottage

Very clean, well kept, 1 bedroom country cottage. Hardwood floors in bedroom and kitchen. Propane heater for winter months and AC in the summer. This a very quiet place, great for a relaxing getaway. There is a fire pit on the property, right near the cottage, for evening fires. We recommend AWD or 4WD or vehicles with snow tires during winter months. The cottage is located on a hill, can be slippery in the winter.

This beautiful Vermont home sits on 25 acres with spectacular views. We moved this sugar house structure to this land and had an architect adapt it to its surroundings. It has three walls of windows that display the amazing views. The house is surrounded by Mount Anthony hiking trails and a gorgeous pond. The location is a 5 minute drive to town or a lovely 20 minute walk.
