Morning to Evening SUN SPOT on the PEACEFUL Secluded Garden + Patio, OVERLOOKING the NATURAL WATERFALL STREAM, WILDLIFE & often our SHEEP. The Paddock is a detached cottage located in the heart of the National Park. The property sits in the Ullswater valley in the village of Watermillock and boasts views of the lake from its private balcony. It has a spacious garden equipped with a tyre swing and a driveway to accommodate a number of vehicles. You can walk to local pubs, the lake, the local camp shop, Pooley Bridge and Aira Force. In the evenings, dine in our open plan kitchen diner and then relax on the balcony or in the lounge.

The Hide Lodge is a stylish space, designed with relaxing and retreating in mind. It is cosy and warm with underfloor heating. The open plan lounge and living area has full width bi-fold doors, which allows the space to be fully opened up to feel like part of the woodland beyond. The main bedroom boasts sliding french doors, also overlooking the woodland and stream, with a bath placed to enjoy this view. There is a private terrace and patio area to enjoy al-fresco dining or star-gazing.

Our mid-terraced cottage sleeps up to five guests in its three well-presented bedrooms, one of which is en-suite. The heart of the home is its living room, complete with a multi-fuel stove which brings some extra cosiness in the colder months, or somewhere to dry your boots after a day in the fells. We have free parking for two cars on the driveway outside the house, and around the back is a shared garden with outdoor seating, ideal for al fresco dining when the sun is shining!

The Byre at Thistlewood Tower Cumbria

The Byre is a cosy 19th century barn conversion forming part of a Grade 1 listed, 14th Century PeleTower and Farmhouse at a small settlement near Highbridge, Dalston Cumbria. Set in a secluded valley with a river running close by. It consists of Sitting room, bedroom, Kitchen and Bathroom. Formally a farming community the Byre is situated in a courtyard of cottages and barn conversions. It is a lovely quiet area surrounded by fields there are walks direct from the door.

The Hayloft (on the doorstep of The Lake District)

First floor barn conversion located in the peaceful village of Newton Reigny, a 9 minute drive from the Lake District National Park border (lake Ullswater just 15 minutes away). The village has a pub & a small shop. A 5 minute drive from the historic market town of Penrith which has a selection of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants & amenities. Easy access to the A66 for Keswick. Very convenient to get to from the M6 motorway (junction 41).
