Burnside es un refugio acogedor y aislado, y una base perfecta para explorar la antigua Galloway. Construido en la década de 1850, nuestra familia restauró el bungalow en 1970 y lo hemos estado visitando desde entonces. La casa de campo se encuentra en un valle tranquilo, a una milla del mar. Serás solo tú, la vida silvestre y las vistas, a poca distancia de playas, calas rocosas y colinas. La casa se encuentra en un sitio cerrado de media hectárea. Tiene capacidad para cinco personas en habitaciones dobles, gemelas e individuales. La cocina/sala de estar son de planta abierta con estufa de leña y wifi.

Cruggleton Lodge, finca Galloway House

Hermosa casa de campo escondida con impresionantes vistas al mar, situada en el borde de un bosque mágico. Cocina cálida con Aga, elegante sala de estar, dos dormitorios y un baño con azulejos de travertino. Un espacio de trabajo dedicado con wifi en esta casa de cuento de hadas aislada. Cruggleton Lodge está fuera de la red y tiene su electricidad suministrada por paneles solares y un generador de respaldo. No hay televisión y los huéspedes dicen que esto mejora sus vacaciones. Del 1 de mayo al 30 de septiembre, hay una piscina climatizada al aire libre y una cancha de tenis en la finca.

Granja Longhill

Longhill es una escapada rural, rodeada de tierras de cultivo, pero a solo unos minutos en coche de la ciudad más cercana de Whithorn. También cuenta con una serie de hermosas playas y paseos a sus puertas, además de encantadoras ciudades portuarias y la ciudad del libro nacional de Escocia, Wigtown. Hay muchos lugares para explorar y visitar, o simplemente puedes acurrucarte junto al fuego, tener un torneo de ping pong, dormir la siesta en las suntuosas camas o leer en el jardín. Hay películas, juegos y banda ancha de fibra óptica superrápida.

The Bothy is a rural, coastal, studio cottage.

This unique place has a style all of its own. The Bothy is newly renovated and offers a peaceful, coastal getaway for 2. It is a twin bedded studio cottage with a separate bathroom and shower. There is a microwave, electric hob, toaster and kettle in the kitchen area. Dining table and chairs. Wall mounted TV and WiFi. There are several quiet beaches with wonderful coastlines to explore within walking distance. There is also the stunning St Medan Golf Course that welcomes visitors all year round.

Lovely holiday home with stunning sea views

Set on the harbour front with easy access to the beautiful Isle of Whithorn, the flat is a new conversion in a historic building. From its cosy window seats you can watch the boats bobbing in the harbour just outside, and sometimes see local seals as well! Our comfortable holiday home is reached via its own courtyard and stairs. There are superb views of the coastline from all rooms and free parking. The first floor flat is just a short stroll away from a fantastic traditional pub/restaurant.

Gorgeous, cosy seafront house

A lovely little house in a spectacular location with sea views of the harbour. Stylish and cosy this traditional house has been lovingly modernised and is full of designer touches and original art. The perfect location to explore this beautiful part of Scotland. The Isle is still an active harbour with fishing boats coming and going. A short walk to the pub or the cafe, both serving delicious food! You can swim from the little pebble beach. Tide permitting! A peaceful, scenic retreat.

Situated on working coastal farm in peninsula of Galloway, 3 km from Whithorn and its rich history, 3 km from Isle with its quaint harbour, 18km from Wigtown . Central heating, double glazing modern kitchen and very comfortable.2 bedrooms double plus twin beds,and walk in shower. Established garden, bbq area safe shed for bikes. Owner nearby and cleans and advises on places to visit. Pets on approval. No electric car charging allowed at the cottage as wiring and fuses not suitable.

La Isla de Whithorn es la punta más meridional de los Machars y del sur de Escocia. Yvette y yo compramos el chalet en julio de 2018 después de quedarnos en él , amándolo y todo lo relacionado con él. Nos enamoramos de la zona y de su historia y belleza Es un hecho que la Isla de Whithorn es mágica.
