Skye Red Fox Retreat - stunning luxury glamping

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It is warm and cosy to protect against the elements and yet light and airy. The cabin is accessed via a spectacular large undercover deck area.

Deliciously off-grid, this wild bothy sits in open wilderness at the foot of Ben Geary, with long views down to the sea. Inside, colour and craft meet comfort: a king size bed, a dining and seating area, with a fully equipped kitchen and wood-burning stove. The spacious bathroom holds a deep tub to enjoy together and shower. Artwork, ceramics and finds from our travels surround you, with interesting books, candles, and a sense of playful, secluded luxury.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris. Features include a central dome roof window, a bath room, a kitchen, comfortable chairs and a wood burning stove, and of course a double bed. The property enjoys a southerly aspect with masses of natural light, is well insulated, warm and cosy

Nearby is the Lews Castle set within its beautiful grounds, ideal for walking in. On the edge of the grounds is the 18 hole Stornoway golf course. Ideal accommodation a couple or small family. Stunning views of Uig Harbour in North Skye. Handy for pub, restaurant, filling station. Uig has The Fairy Glen and is about 5 miles from the famous Quiraing. There is one double bed and two large bunk beds, each the same size as a standard single bed. The accommodation is self catering, with tea, coffee, cereals, eggs etc. supplied. TV and Wi-fi. 30 paces from parking to the door. Towels and linen supplied.

Spindrift bed & breakfast is a studio apartment in Applecross with it's own front door, kitchen & bathroom. It is situated on the edge of a cliff with a rocky beach below and has wonderful, uninterrupted views of the Islands of Rona, Skye and on a clear day the Outer Hebridean islands of Lewis & Harris. The apartment has a small, well equipped kitchen with a fridge & microwave.
