This truly unique experience is all about stylishly bringing FUN back to vacations! The historic town sits along the Wilmington river and is a 5 min. drive to historic downtown Savannah and a 15 min. drive to Tybee Island (the beach). The home has just undergone a complete renovation. The professionally designed interior offers an artistic delight around every corner.

Starlander Ltd.: The XL Suite, w/ private bath

The Starlander suites are within a 1920s townhouse that's part home (mine), part guest house, part art gallery, and a little bit library (I have a few books). I've travelled to over 70 countries, and my favorite stays were not in hotels, but in small guest houses and hostels with private rooms available. I liked the home-grown character of these places, and the chance to interact with the hosts and other guests. I hope to give others a similar opportunity in Savannah at the Starlander.

The Crooked Oak Cottage is a short walk to Historic Bluff drive which overlooks the intracoastal waterway. The Isle of Hope community has several crafts and art shows through out the year. The IOH Marina hosts monthly concerts, kayak rentals and local fishing charters. Crooked Oak is minutes from Wormsloe plantation, Tybee beach, Savannahs Downtown area and many other attractions.
