We have had many guests visit the sea caves in Cornucopia, spend the day in Bayfield, or hike the Porcupine Mountains. The backyard is adjacent to acres of woods containing the Historic Montreal Ski Trails in winter. For snowmobile & ATV enthusiasts, trails are accessible from the house. Plenty of parking for trailers. Hunting, fishing, alpine skiing & golf nearby as well as the Gile Flowage, many water falls, rivers & lakes to explore!

The Saari House on the ABR Ski Trails

The Saari House is a fully updated farmhouse located on the ABR ski trails. Ski on the freshly groomed trails right out the front door. (Trail passes required.) It's a perfect location for families skiing in and out on a winter getaway or as home base for local waterfall hiking or biking. Guests will have full kitchen, bathroom with tub/shower, washer/dryer, TV with collection of DVDs, various video games and board games.

Our Finnish Farmhouse: 2 miles from ABR Ski Trails

Note: No Smoking, vaping, or cannabis anywhere on property and no pets allowed. Our Finnish Farmhouse is a log home that was first established in 1906. The home was purchased and completely renovated and restored from 2016-2020. The original logs have been restored on the interior of the home and many updates have been made. We are sure you will enjoy your stay with us.

Enjoy Snow River Ski Resort and snowmobile trails just yards away from the property in the winter or hiking the porcupine mountains and other outdoor activities in the summer!
