Set in a quiet residential cul-de-sac, we are located in the seaside town of Dungloe, a 5 minute walk to the Main street, with many friendly bars and restaurants, and a short drive to Aldi, Lidl and others. Our famous holiday town is the gateway to World class beaches, breathtaking scenery, and unspoiled rural landscapes that will replenish the weary soul.

Situated in Kincasslagh, in Donegal, our house has garden views. The beach can be seen from the front windows, and is a 2 min walk. The accommodation is 9 km from the shopping town of Dungloe , and 8 km from Donegal airport. Guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking on site. Downstairs is spacious with a living room connected to a well-equipped kitchen and a sunroom. Downstairs is a bedroom with en suite shower room. Upstairs are two more double bedrooms and a bathroom.

Minutes from the Wild Atlantic Way, Ballycannon cottage is a great choice for exploring Donegal’s many wonders.

Dooey Hill Cottage is nestled on the hillside by Dooey beach with Atlantic views, overlooking beautiful Traigheana bay (Bay of the Birds) and the mountains of Donegal. It is on 6 acres including shoreline, secluded yet only 5 minutes drive to local shops and pubs with traditional music and food, and a further 10 minutes to the town of Dungloe with several supermarkets, a bank and numerous traditional pubs and restaurants.

This is an ideal place to settle into for a night or two and return to each evening after visiting the beautiful Donegal countryside. There are wonderful views from the cottage of Sleive League (Sliabh Liag) beyond.
