From here you can enjoy the countryside by walking or biking, short or longer routes. A folder in the cottage has a selection of maps, which you are welcome to use and choose a route straight from the door. Rokeby Cottage is a 5 minute walk from the village centre which hosts a great range of excellent pubs, cafes and shops.

Hugh Cottage is a pretty holiday home nestled in the charming village of Bradwell. Recently restored to create a warm and inviting space, it offers a great base from which to explore the Peak District with the famous Castleton Caves, Kinder Scout & Mam Tor all on your doorstep. Offering, free WiFi, on-street parking, lovely spacious rooms and garden space. Perfect for couples or families with small children. We can accept up to 1 dog, a fee of £30.00 is payable.

The Cottage, which is within walking distance of Bamford train and bus station and local shops, has it's own garden and seating area on the bank of the river. The Cottage has private access and parking is available. Fly fishing is also available by arrangement with hosts.
